It's the same as anything-- it's not sex as sex that gets adulation, it's sex as power.

We don't really care that a certain musician is having really satisfying and connected sex, we care that he has lots of sex; he can get any girl. We care that he can get any car and get into any party. It's all about that "I'm so powerful I can do anything I want" lifestyle.

That's why redpill isn't about finding a partner, it's about having as much sex as possible with any many women as possible, especially women who meet the current beauty standard. It's about being the kind of guy who CAN do that, not whether that's actually enjoyable or not. There's a reason redpill is so appealing to disenfranchised men, it targets people who feel powerless and offers them power.

Of course, in real life, it's like you say... sex is fun, we've all got a biological urge for it, and it can be really special with someone you've got powerful chemistry with. But it's definitely not so momentous as people make it out to be.

I think it has to be about low self esteem, like needing attention and demonstration of worth constantly via sex. Also low empathy and narcissism potentially.

Personally, I absolutely love promiscuity and having lots of sex partners. SO why would "player" behavior be regarded as cool? Well because I"m not alone; a lot of people in theory or maybe even in practice really, really enjoy having lots of partners, and lots of new partners. I don't think we should shame that or treat that like a mental illness.

Now the lying and manipulating part, that's what's horrible. Ethical sluts of all sexes and genders are great! Users/abusers/liars/cheaters suck.

The solution to habitual, consummate abusers is community because anonymity is what they rely on. The reason these people are able to get away with it, the reason their reputation does not precede them, is that in modern society most of us lack community. Drifters like this don't even need to leave the metro area in order to keep finding some new pocket of the city in which they are a stranger and no one there knows what a liar and user they are. NOt that meeting someone at AA, or church, or the union hall, or whatever, guarantees you're not being manipulated, but having vouches from people who have known someone for many years is pretty good assurance the person is upfront about who they are and what they're after.

I think it comes down to how social norms work. Women tend to have inherent value, being pursued by men. Men on the other hand, generate have to prove themselves desirable and sex is a confirmation that they are. This is also the reason why we have cretinous insults like "incel" or "virgin", designed to attack a man's sexuality, desirability and perceived value. But I don't think it's just that. There's also PUAs that talk about "spreading their seed" and "spinning plates". I think those people are just broken inside and seek validation between as many women's legs as possible, instead of taking pride in their ability to satisfy and pleasure one partner. Personally I tend to be disgusted by promiscuous people. Like I get it, it's not the 1950s anymore, but at some point it starts getting repulsive. If someone treats themselves like a worthless piece of meat, why should I treat them any differently? They're the one who set the standard. And let me make it abundantly clear that I'm referring to both men and women here.

They have perfected two of the most valuable skills in life, the ability to socialize effectively and the ability to read people. Just because you're jealous that doesnt mean what they're doing isnt actually impressive and praiseworthy.
