Honestly I think this is very accurate for men. Men generally don’t value the opinions of women, if you criticise him on his behaviour he might go through the motions of changing (if he’s smart enough to pull that off) but he’ll never actually change.

Especially if your criticisms are extremely common sense things like hey can you call me when you say you’re going to, or hey don’t make misogynistic jokes, don’t like women’s pictures on social media etc etc. Men aren’t stupid. It suits them to feign ignorance but they know what shitty behaviour is. They treat you the way they think about you. If you were his dream girl he’d be on his best behaviour because he’d be terrified of putting you off.

One of the greatest lies ever sold to modern women is the concept of ‘cOmMuNiCaTioN’. The hours of my life I wish I could get back that I spent ‘explaining’ basic concepts of respectful decent behaviour to ugly manipulative emotionally vacant men. They fucking knew what they were doing. The hurrr durrr act is a ploy to keep them holding all the cards while you dance for them and boost their ego.

As a reminder, if you need to criticize him (or any partner) you're not compatible.

We should practice boundaries with ourselves and our emotional labor. What good will it do if you repeat why you don't like them following IG models, why you need consistent communication, why the dishes need to be done, etc. Arguing is pointless.

They either have what you're looking for or they don't🤷They'll never be motivated to become what you need simply by being in a relationship with you. You should enter dating-relationships with the idea that this person will not change their behavior. Ask yourself if you're okay with that?

I agree with the tiktok, but dont agree with the title of this post. No one is perfect and perfect is not defined the same way for everyone, but we can all get closer to our partner's definition of perfect by taking criticism, improving based on it and giving partners our own criticisms. Just because you feel the need to criticize someone, doesn't mean that you're "not compatible" with that person, only the ones who can't take criticisms and improve based on them are "not compatible".
