Hi all, I'm new to this community and have been really enjoying it a lot lately. When I first joined it felt uncomfortable but I started reading more posts, exploring the wiki and having conversations about RP.

When I first interacted with RP ideologies it was from the man's perspective and I noticed a lot of angry man placing blame on women. Then last year I met a man (possibly high value, still learning to trust myself and my instints after leaving a relationship with a man who constantly gaslit me) who introduced me to some RP youtubers. I began to warm up to the ideologies a bit more as he introduced me to some more of the milder content. We've had some really great discussion about RP youtubers and their content.

But here's the problem. I used to identify as a feminist. I learned about feminist theory in my undergrad and as someone who was raised in poverty, with a single mother and regularly dealt with racism in the small town I was raised in, these ideas felt life changing. Now my understanding of the world is shifting. And I am trying to reconcile how feminist theory can be useful in my professional life but not applicable in my personal life. What I mean by that is I am in social work. I work with men and women on the margins of society where feminist theory is actually very helpful. But I feel like I am having an identity crisis.

I've always been the nurturer. The one who wants to take care of everyone. I've been told multiple times that I am too nice and I should change that. Exploring the RedPillWomen subreddit has shown me that my sweetness, my submissiveness are not bad qualities to have. My career reflects my personality. But like I said, I am trying to reconcile the two ideas and I am struggling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also I would love some recommendations of yotubers or podcasts I can watch, especially from the black experience as I want to hear stories similar to mine!
