If there's a specific reason (DUI history, serious driving history issues, felonies of any sort, sex offender list) then you have a leg to stand on for barring from pickup.

Otherwise, you just look like a jealous, controlling ex.

If you tell the school you don't want this non-parent to have permission to pick up your kids, they will likely back off. But before you do that, better check your marital settlement agreement, if any. Usually any non-parent pick-up requires both parents' consent. And before you pull the trigger on this card you have in your hand, you better figure out why you're doing it and what you will gain from it. Otherwise you're just creating conflict and hardship for no purpose, which is stupid AF.

Not a grandparent. Not a new SO. No one.

Legally there’s no difference from an SO picking up and a grandparent. Both fall into the category of “not parent”.

When they get married he becomes a “household member” legally which does change it yes.

I suggest you stop being so vengeful and angry and learn to accept your new reality that’s best for the kids.

Personally, I don’t think this is the battle you want to fight. Try not to let it bother you even though of course it bothers you when it’s impacting your kids negatively. But at the end of the day this isn’t something you can control, and trying to control it may go to litigation which then can easily become expensive and ultimately backfire. It’s just not worth it.
