I think it's absolutely insane that people can look at men as a class with a straight face and then say that those men are unequivocally privileged over women.

It's not even that far in the past that men were literally at war for this country. People's fathers - alive and well today - fought in Vietnam and Korea. Millions of them.

And people will try to spin that against women. I can actually get behind the affront it was that women didn't go to war because they were seen as too fragile and weak. But that does not encapsulate the whole story. I feel like people routinely gloss over the fact that literally millions of men have died for this country because they happened to be men. It's disgusting because they were never given a voice in modern society. People will largely just write them off as numbers and statistics and never stop to really consider that as a man, your life is simply worth less and that's a very deep-seated feeling most men are very aware of.

It's exhausting. Do people not consider this? Do they not realize that a major reason the USA prospered the way it did is because we sent millions of men to be cannon fodder because of some "obligation" they had due to their gender?
