It seems to me that young women also quite frequently use bro to refer to each other. So at least in its usage I'm not convinced it's quite as gendered as you're assuming it to be.

One should also note that "ho" doesn't exactly describe "high-quality reliable human".

So I'm sure it's wrong however RP use it, because that's what they do, they get things wrong, but in principle, I think there's truth to this particular saying, depending on perspective taken.

The statement makes a lot of sense in context. It's in reference to guys who will do anything to have sex, including screwing over or abandoning their friends. Those friends can be men or women so its not a misogynist statement.

I've never been judged for my looks and status by a male friend, while it's the standard in dating women. Too many times I've been ghosted by a woman I was vicing with just after showing them my pictures, this has never happened with a male friend or gay men (actually, gay men become more interested after seeing my face!).

This is from the perspective of a man who has never been on a date though, I can't speak for men who are in relationships with women. I can only say that - as a dateless straight man - so far my experience with potential female dates has been extremely worse than my experience with making male friends and meeting gay men.

People in general are not reliable. If you put 10 dollars in a random business, a lot of time you will never see the 10 dollars ever again.

Same is true with people. With a lot of people, you can put all the time you want in. You may get nothing back much like a black hole. That's why the safest way to use your time is to use it building yourself. The people that are worth it will come to you.
