Female friends and acquaintances have admitted to conceptualizing my appearance as a "player" (I'm not). How can I diminish this perception to my advantage?

Some guys might see this as a compliment, but I'm sure it acts as more of a deterrent.

I feel like when women use the term "player", it translates to heartbreak and disloyalty more than "I want to jump this guys bones".

In this case, being "smooth" is expected of a player. So, women of reddit, what could make you change your mind on this negative perception?
