In theory the logic is you are supposed to be caring for the child, not the women. The child is obviously dependant.

The problem is in practice, the money usually goes to helping the women pay for her house's mortgage or whatever, and its not used for the child directly, at least not the full amount.

Its also an unfair system since its always the women keeping the custody and benifiting from child support, rarely the other way around.

About the first one: both people (a man and a woman) are responsible for their child. It is not about independency.

What they really mean is "some women are capable of the same things as men are".
Funny bit: in my country physical tests to army for women are lighter because they are women. But physical tests for police are the same. Why? "criminals wont treat you lighter, because you are a woman. Policewoman need to be ablee to beat them up."

If feminists truly believed in equality then their would not be double standards but that is not what the current feminist movement is about. It simply is about hating and having power over men and using actual victims of DV and discrimination to further this toxic agenda.

I 1000% believe in supporting women with the unique issues they face but I no longer associate myself with the current feminist movement. It's not productive or positive and I believe does more harm to addressing women's rights than good.

Context matters. Objectifying a woman who makes a living off it, yes. Objectifying a woman who’s just minding her own business, no.
Literally everyone punches above their weight, not just women.
I do actually agree with this. All able-bodied people should be drafted during war and placed in a suitable role.
I’ve literally never seen a women being encouraged to chase a toxic guy. If she does, it’s usually of her own volition and trust me everyone thinks she’s being an idiot.

I already wrote a big comment on that topic here. In short, you demand men should have zero risk and responsibilty when having sex when you should demand birth control for men. If you think abortion is a good solution with all its negative side effects then so are vasectomies.

Are you serious? do you not understand what consent is? or that women are sexual ceatures too? A woman with an only fans acc is empowerd bc she actually gets to KEEP the money she makes instead of giving it to a pimp. However, outside of the only fans acc she is a human being and no one has the right to be vulgar or sexual with her if she doesnt want to.

Never heard a feminist say that. The general view is not to settle for someone you dont actually want them. It's not fair to anyone. And many women today would rather stay single. If your standards arent met and you are okay being alone you dont have to settle for anyone.

Not the same women. Women are not one entity. Plus again I never met a feminist that denied biological differences. However, people make them out to be more than they actually are. And lots of countries work on equal military service, either both genders be drafted or it is optional. Also, lots of sexual abuse in the military. Ofc not many women want to go if you got a 25% chance of getting assaulted.

I'm not even closely feminist, but:

What is double standard here? Being Independent is profitable for any person, and for family too. Alimony or child support is paid for child, not for women. Children are dependent, and everyone should be responsible for their children, women aren't exempt from this. This should be more normalized to sue women for alimony if she abstain from supporting her children. Yes it jurisdiction with alimony for ex-wife in the world, this laws must be canceled.

Most people don't want, we should focus on lifting this burden from men, not getting women into this.
