I’ve always found it very unfair that men should be expected to stay behind while women and children flee for their lives. It’s understandable to let the children get out first, but both men and women should get an equal chance at avoiding war, shouldn’t they? That’s what equality is.

From the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry you're going through this. The injustice of it all enrages me. Any government that forces men to fight without giving them extra privileges for their forced life- and limb-threatening labor does not deserve to continue existing. Men would happily fight voluntarily for a government that treated them well.

Ukraine is now a Syria like proxy warzone where world powers are fighting with each other. Europe is currently in a crisis and forgetting about Ukraine, US wants to keep the war continue so paying him billions and Russia wants to keep fighting.

Every decade, atleast one country is turned to bloodland because elites want to show off their hyperinflated egos and it is profitable for weapon industry.

Your best bet is to escape through Russian occupied territory. If you reach Donetsk, you might be able to apply for Donetsk passport.

In the USA, if we had been invaded ALL fighting men (and possibly women soon now) are required to join the fight somehow. Granted I am not trying to downplay your situation, or even attempt to understand what it's really like for you right now. All I know is men in the USA are required by law to register for the national draft service in the event of war. I wish you the best , and truly hope you can find a resolution to your problem that fits your needs.

Firstly, the UN has nothing to do with Human rights, the protection of human rights, or even a real concern for them. The UN is only about growing its power and creating a single world Government where Russia and China have major sway over nations they seek to annex.

This isn't the first time in human history this has happened, and it certanitly won't be the last. Trading money to avoid conscription is as old as the concept of organized warfare. If you're a poor man you're cannon fodder, if you're rich you can buy a commission or bribe you're way out of service. If the rich weren't able to circumvent this requirement and spare their children from harm, there would be alot less war. I'm sorry this is happening to you. I hope you find a way to escape and never have to know war again.

Ok, I will be downvoted amd hated for this, but it needs to be said.

I'm for men's rights, but this is an entitled, idealistic and unrealistic view of the world. Freedom comes with responsibility, we do not live in a utopia. Stop conflating responsibility with suppression of rights.

It doesn't matter what country, if everyone could just run from their homes because the world and human nature kicks in by some asshat in power then everyone would. But you are expecting everyone else to take an entire other countries population into its midst, as no one wants to stay and die in a war. You also seem to take for granted the people who have died so you even have this perspective and live in peace. It's completely unrealistic.

Sure, people valuntarily enlist out of pride, patriotism, duty, etc. But none want to die in war and the volunteers are not sufficient to fight a larger force. Conflict is, and always will be part of human nature and war doesn't care what your politics are.

Notice I've said people, because I don't care which sex you are. In WWII, men and women enlisted in droves. Now, all I see is posts of "I don't wanna, its not fair." If men hadn't lost this perspective of duty, the mandate wouldn't be necessary. Not for your government but for your neighbors and people you care about.

It's sad that this sub is glorifying people who spit on their countymen's past efforts out of some indignation. Yes, the government imposed mandatory draftng of men, but every country has some form of mandatory enrollment during times of existential destruction. The US draft is a great example, and now has been made mandatory to women. People here cry about feminism, but the outcomes from emasculation of men have been this mentality. So you claim anger at feminists, but you are acting exactly like they has said you should.

Now, I'm not confining this to the Ukraine. It has its own, unique problems and I'm not knocking these for your specific situation. And im also not saying this war wasnt politically started or that it's fair you are there. This is more a rant on an overall trend I notice.

Russia attacked in 2014, this was inevitable war and you had plenty of time to leave if you didn't want live near a potential warzone. Your arguement of wanting to live in peace without political is shallow and selfish. I'm sure all of your average countrymen wanted to live in peace.

What they also opened was voluntary enrollment to women, and many are staying. There was no mandate to force women out of the country.

I don't think you'd like what I have to say about it, but here is my honest opinion:

Men have better chances to sustain physical injuries and are better fit for wars in general
Men are easier to replace (in demographic sense) than women. It's a fact, not an accusation.
The catch here are the "all around oppressed" claims by certain groups, an obvious hypocrisy.

I am terribly sorry you have to suffer like this, it is extremely unjust. However, please, please don't kill yourself. Keep your head down, maybe write down what you see and the unfairness of it, then push hard for things to change. Shame the living hell out of your government (and women if you feel up to it) for the double-standards and hypocrisy. Demand they change and do better. It may not change quickly or even in your lifetime, but there is no doubt that other men are feeling as you do (and some women as well) and will side with you. Together you can start changing the culture, bit by bit. Stay strong and please, keep living. People with just hearts should not be forced to depart the earth because of the unjust.
