Sorry I didn't continue reading the rest of your post because while watching the first video, it felt like I was losing brain cells by the second.

She is literally involved in hookup culture but at the same time acting surprised and shocked that people in this "culture" think that she is not deserving of commitment or love?! Now, I am not a native speaker and also because I am not a smart person (at least after watching the video) but holy shit could someone explain it to me in simple terms if I am wrong because this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Isn't that the whole point of "hookup culture", isn't that what you signed up for? to enjoy and "empower" yourself without getting into committed and loving long term relationships?

This whole realization she came up with apparently happened after she wanted more from a guy or guys she hooked up with, had feelings for them but they told her directly or (indirectly) "Sorry, not interested in anything more than sex" which is perfectly normal.

I can bet that she did the same thing to many guys and shut them down instantly but was okay with it and probably patted herself on the back for "establishing and exercising her boundaries".

But the moment the roles were reversed she felt the need to look at her childhood pictures. Lol this person needs therapy or a long look at the mirror, maybe even both.

Jesus that was painful to watch. She isn't the cute little girl anymore. She is a grown woman who made repeated mistakes and is still trying to figure out a way for it to be someone else's fault. The entire feminist movement was a "sucker" game. The whole point of it was to get women into the labor force to increase the supply of labor and drive down the costs so that the owning class could pay people less. You ever notice that all corporations support feminism? Ever wonder why?

It's amazing that it worked. Apparently, all you have to tell women is that it's "cool" to do something and they'll do it no matter how shitty it is. They convinced women that a life of leisure paid for by a personal slave (a man) was slavery.

The bottom line is that many modern women are beyond spoiled by getting everything their way all the time, but getting everything your way all the time feels hollow and they can't bond with partners because the partner wants to get things their way sometimes and most men have the lived experience of not getting their way a lot but can't bond over that shared experience of not getting their way with a spoiled woman that always gets her way.

It’s a bit off topic for the sub but kind of points to an underlying problem that we all face. Women in the current year believe they can do whatever they want with no consequences. That can be (in this case) hook ups, or legally, or in family court.

We can’t convince them this is bad, they have to work it out for themselves. If that pendulum starts to swing back it will help in our pursuit of genuine equality. I feel awful for that young lady and I hope her message saves more of them from the same pain. Hook up culture is terrible for everybody, I wish we could un-invent it.

I haven't studied the topic all that much, but from my limited digging into how things played historically, in the past what usually happened when there was a shortage of "marriagable" men is that the women tried to snag one before all the "good" ones were taken (or just a shortage of young men in general like when a sizable portion died in a war). When data was available, you could see this in the average age of women at the time of their first marriage dropping. That's the main tool a woman had to out-compete other women - be willing to marry before her peers. All other things being equal, almost every 30 year old man would pick a 25 year old woman over a 30 year old.

I keep waiting to see if the trend of age-at-first marriage stops rising, but not yet.

This all depends on how one defines sex positivity for both men and women alike: If we're talking the sort of braindead shit organizations like The GLF in the 70s, and later on Sex Panic was pulling back in the 90s, when they both touted a lifetime of promiscuity as something that everyone should aspire to, and rejected monogamy and marriage as "bourgeois values"(Similar to prominent MRAs today, who vacillate between telling men to treat the opposite sex like pump and dumps, or to avoid women altogether, all while deriding marriage as "a norm-ie thing". Despite the fact that most of these same MRAs are themselves in long-term marriages), then yeah.... This is nothing less than self-destructive behavior, no matter what one's gender or sexual orientation might be. And supposed activists who encourage their followers to go down this particular road to ruin must be called out on it, publicly and vociferously. Such a glaring lack of concern for the very people you claim to advocate for is inexcusable and frankly unforgivable. I'm at a loss as to why we, as a civilization, aren't ostracizing hucksters like this

On the other hand, if one defines sex positivity to mean simply that sex is perfectly human, and that it can be the most sublime expression of love and affection between two humans who are crazy about one another.... Well, it's tough to see how anyone other than perhaps Andrea Dworkin in The 1980s or Paul Elam today could twist themselves into knots in pursuit of finding an objection to this

Let's everyone note that Dworkin and Elam themselves spent/have spent decades in what are essentially common law marriages, all while chiding the rest of us mere mortals for desiring mates of our own. There's no sight more astounding than that of two buffoons who claim to speak on behalf of women and men, respectively, but then denigrate these same demographics for wanting all the things that these self-proclaimed advocates enjoy

How is this relevant (to men's rights) or even a good thing?

Not all men aspire to mandatory monogamy, nor should they have to. Some men would rather relationships with other men than with women. Not to mention, plenty of heteromonogamous marriages under traditional gender roles are sexually unsatisfying and inflict costs upon men (dying faster being the sole breadwinner for one).

And if women turn against the sexual revolution, well there goes the porno industry. And if women go tradcon and Jesus-y well we get yet another George W Bush administration (which would not be a good thing).

I understand ressentiment against the "Chads," but Chad is a man too and he has rights even if we're jealous of the fact that natural accidents mean he gets more sex with less effort.
