Wrote up the complaint and affidavit with the lawyer. Outlines years of (verbal) abuse and refusal to recognize it as a problem. All kinds of anti-trans bigotry. Specific instances and events with detail, all supported by timestamped notes. I'm seeking full custody.

All the while she's planning friend gatherings, dinners, and whatnot for all of us like nothing is wrong. It's such a weird situation.

Someone please tell me I'm doing the right thing, and that I have to go all-out, full-on, aggressively, to ensure the best possible outcome for myself and the kid.

I can't tell anyone else or talk to anyone but my lawyer about this until she's served officially.

I also hope she doesn't do anything really stupid. I don't really have reason to believe she will, but maybe it's a good idea to be prudent. Not sure how I should prepare for the shitstorm that is brewing. Both me and the kid. Anyone have a checklist?
