I’ve often thought this. With men asking to go on a date, particularly cold approaches, there’s often this feeling of ‘Well why wouldn’t you?’ Without any regard for the fact that maybe I wouldn’t find him attractive.

I find that women tend to hem and haw a bit about whether they’re pretty enough for a guy, especially if they want to approach.
