‘You’re just giving them what they want’. Yeah. Yeah, you are. That’s kinda how this whole thing works. You absolutely need to care about what the other sex thinks of you if you want to be in a relationship with them. This goes both ways.

It’s actually a bit sad. I don’t think she really hates men, she just hates the situation she’s in. But weight is (relatively speaking) one of those things that can be controlled (yes yes, there are outliers with various health conditions but this lady isn’t one) so I also have limited sympathy.

I think feminism has lied to women in so many ways, but ‘you do do, men just don’t deserve you’ from her ‘friends’ (I bet most of whom are slender and married/coupled) is really bad advice. Men are allowed to have preferences, standards and things they want. We’ve (as a society) spent so long pressuring men not to articulate it, but they haven’t gone away.

Typical female attitude, nothing is wrong with her being the size she is, something is wrong with men because they are not attracted to her. Besides someone that size being grossly unattractive to 99.8 % of the male population, letting yourself get to that size is a red flag concerning your approach to life -- it screams laziness and sloth and that there are other issues, likely mental, that you don't want to address so you turn to food.
