An egalitarian believes in equality for all.

Feminists only believe in equality when it helps their group. In fact they advocate against equal rights if it means they lose a privilege, for example before the vote for equal retirement age here in Switzerland.

At best feminism is equality for women and just for women. At worst they want to discriminate against men because they see it as a zero sum game or because they want some kind of revenge for what our male ancestors supposedly did to our female ancestors.

I read post somewhere about a guy who was gay. He and his best friend ( also gay) were hanging out at a bar when his bf came, kissed him, said goodbye and drove away. A homophobic woman came up to his friend, yelled "FAGGOT" punched him in the face,knocking him out. When he woke up and complained, he got laughed at " was called " faggot" , misoginyst" " sexist" etc. All because he complained a homophobic woman punched him? Wow not only he went through homophobia but also misandry because aparently if a woman assaults a man he is a sexist because he complained? , bcz if he complains he thinks women are weaker and they cannot hit?. Thats what is the world has come to. Not supporting the victim, misandry and homophobia in the same boat are the worst.

Feminism equals misandry. Feminism teaches women to hate effeminate men, i.e. beta males who have done nothing but respect women yet are guilty of not having the right genetic make up, while promoting mass fawning over alpha males who are most likely to mistreat women.

With a concept as idiosyncratic as "feminism," you really can't tell anything about a person just by the label. Is the "feminist" you're talking to a blatantly misandrist lesbian separatist of TERF? Or maybe you're talking to a MensLib guy or Warren Farrell whose feminism and Men's Rights advocacy are complementary? You really never know.

70% of the time, a self-described feminist simply never thinks about Men's Issues enough to learn the difference between productive masculism and misogynist trash like Andrew Tate. Many of these people are not wholly unreasonable - you could probably convince them to oppose circumcision, for example.

The truth is MRAs are more obsessed with demonizing the label of "feminism" than the actual issues. So stick to the issues.

What happened historically with Nationalism, is the same with what happened with Feminism.

There was once a "good" Nationalism, a romantic idea that the nation would unite - against, usually, the aristocracy, and then the different nations would come together and collaborate. Of course, bacause Nationalism is a bourgeois ideology and you can't trick history, once the nations formed, they started warring with each other.

Similarly, there was, until recently, a "good" feminism, in which women would voluntarily take up more responsibility in exchange for more freedoms. We now know that's impossible.
