A part of me wants so badly to be in a relationship.. And to build something with someone..

But you see stuff like this so much to the point it makes you wonder why bother if nobody else cared about being in a relationship and taking it seriously anyway? And you get shit on and called all kinds of names for wanting to commit to someone and wanting the same from them. Honestly I don't know why I haven't just given up yet.

This is fairly common. Also open relationships/marriages. Swinging. Etc…

Often one partner’s sexual appetite increases while the other decreases. So relationship is “open” and one sided. Men are often so willing to let their partner sleep with others and not do so themselves while maintaining the status of the relationship because, despite all the emotional pain it causes, the effect of a divorce or separation would be even more complicated. Often a man realizes he will not be able to find another partner while his wife will easily be able to do so. So having her shared is better than having no one. And then you have to think about it from an assets perspective: say you’ve been married 20 years, have millions of dollars of property and assets, and you can either lose half of it or let her sleep with young Chad’s and have the option to use escorts yourself; you can divorce, deal with the social issues of that + give up half of your assets and pay a monthly fee to her for simply having been your wife…or she bangs dudes on the side and everything else remains the same.

Personally I think these women are selfish children. I would “open” the relationship and spend every free weekend with the hottest, youngest escorts I could afford and let her do what she wants. The rules would be simple: “do not tell me anything about what you do and who you do it with. You are no longer my wife. [You are a whore.]”

I would then secretly be moving all of my money into offshore accounts. I would purchase an Estate in Mexico or the coast of Turkey. I would make arrangements with an escort of choice for a free life at said estate. Etc..and once all my assets are ready - such that the least possible could end up in her hands, I would bankrupt myself and file for divorce with a good lawyer, so that due to my financial situation I am only able to pay x tiny sun of money & give half the earnings of the house being sold etc due to bankruptcy. Leaving her without a home or income. And then I’d bail, and live the rest of my days like a king in a foreign county, changing my name & deleting all phone numbers/email accounts/bank accounts etc connected to my prior life, never speaking to her again. Cause if 23 years of committed, loving marriage isn’t enough devotion, and she doesn’t want what I offer, and chooses banging young dudes over keeping our marriage vows, she can have nothing, it being what she deserves. :)
