I asked about him at the reunion and offered my condolences, she said she had to suck it up and talk nice about him at the funeral, even though he was an angry drunk who would hit her mom, her and younger brothers. So yeah, even through physical abuse as a child, she talked nice about him at the funeral when she didn’t have to.
