Just sharing. So lots of surprises:

- 11/5 (Saturday) got offer on house and STBX rejected x3 modifications even though the modifications were her request = moving goal post

- 11/6 (Sunday) We were scheduled for mediation 11/8, I emailed attorney I want to cancel as no point and a judge can decide

-11/7 (Monday) STBX's attorney emails my attorney asking if the house offer is still valid. It expired 11/5 @ 2100. BUT, I call our realtor and she says we can make a counter offer. After a LOT of back and forth (buying couple, STBX, both our attorneys) we signed on a offer. Closing is Dec 2! Since the house 'sold' we keep mediation on the table

-11/8 (Tuesday) We actually come to a final agreement / settlement on everything. We write it up, everyone signs, but attorney said will file on the 9th or 10th. Just need a judge to review and sign off; and then it's official = Divorced!

So the only concern I have is the STBX arranging to move out of the house in a timely manner. Per our agreement it's 100% on her to arrange and handle. And to say I don't trust her is an understatement. But it's out of my hands.

I don't feel happy and excited, nor sad or upset. Mostly just indifferent, her BS on 11/6 kind of killed the last bit of concern or worry I had about her (which is a nice gift). Now she's just another person wandering the planet. Have to exchange some property (going to the house this weekend), close a bunch of mutual accounts, transfer some payments, etc. All minor stuff (working on it now).

I think I might feel some more positive feelings once after closing, then I am truly 100% free. Until then I'm partly at her mercy. There's no reason to fuck up the move, and not moving out means no closing / escrow money (she gets ~$650k) so she should be highly motivated to get it done.

So for other guys going through it, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I do feel a weight off me, and I start saving move money immediately (don't have to pay mortgage Dec 1 and spousal support dropped by $2.5k from the temporary order; planning to pay off ALL support over the next 3 months and be done with it once I get my share of escrow).

As I write this I actually feel my heart getting lighter and a smile coming on. Next on list is find a FWB :) Don't worry never getting married again and no interest in dating / LTR. Just want an actually FWB, well a B that I am also friendly with LOL!
