I don't mind the social programs in general, but not at a deficit.

I used to be pretty left leaning, you know crying when Trump won level. I was always reasonable though, I was never into hating on men or all this PC woke stuff. I didn’t really know much about how out of hand feminism got until a few years into Trumps presidency. The Left really went bad shit crazy and I saw what it meant to be a feminist these days. I just thought it was equal rights but we have that now so not really relevant. Kinda thought it was just “girl power” or whatever. I now lean more conservative but have strong beliefs that don’t really align with either side. I’m female and most of my female friends are pretty feminist but not the man hating kind and they don’t really talk about issues very much. I definitely want nothing to do with the movement now. I guess I’m moderate whatever that even means.

All over the place, on one hand having high taxes and government paid hospitals, education and payment during education is fucking awesome. Which is left leaning, on the other hand i also believe that the world doesn't owe you anything, and laying down crying about is usually not going to fix much, which generally would be right leaning. I also believe in a strong government, becouse the people are dumb as rocks, which is very authoritarian, but i also believe that the government should only make rules where they're realy needed, and let personal freedom and unity make way when it can, which is more anarkistic

Center; but with a lot of centrist things, it depends on what kind of issue you're specifically talking about.

Like I'm happy Biden went and signed into federal protection marriage equality for same sex/interracial couples.

But if it's economy, I'm pretty conservative; I think we should limit the deficit spending, go through all the earmarked policies, and cancel a fuck ton of programs that benefit all kinds of people, at least until we can work down the national debt. Not that I think it'd ever happen; but it's just ridiculous how it's like every year or every other year, we're hearing about the risk of government shutdown because of how fucked the federal budget is.

Do you also feel that women have skewed society to the political left too much?

To be precise, it's not really about women - there's a fair amount of women that are Right wing/Conservative that just them being women isn't "the problem".

In line with what this sub is more about, it's Feminism, and that has had a fair amount of influence from other left-leaning ideologies too (socialism, marxism, communism, etc), that they go pretty much hand-in-hand now.

As an extension of this; politics has been subject to moving goal posts for a while - like you could take the most right leaning politician and drop them in the 1800's and they'd be seen as liberal left. A lot of my opinions haven't changed since the late 90's, but back then I was more in alignment with left-leaning things, and because of how the rest of politics has shifted so far left, now I'm pretty much center with a lean (depending on the issue) to the right.

All about workers rights, and men have been workers for 3 million years of known human history...without getting proper compensation or any appreciation from the societies we work for. Feminism wants rights specific to women, any time humans wanted and granted rights for a specific type of human, fascism ensued, then war, then loss of life. This will be no different. So yeah, feminism is fascism, fuck feminism. Socialism is cool, as long as everything possible gets automated and governments are run by AISs, with democracies being about electing manifestos, instead of humans.

Left. The goal of the left is to decrease inequality and bring the majority up. The goal of the right is to maintain the status quo or often times to be regressive. (see private vice public health care for an example) While I understand that change can be bad if not implemented properly, I can't fathom why not wanting to move forward from this present hell scape could ever be considered a good thing.

No. Not at all. I think feminism has co-opted the campaign headlines of the left while they govern to the right. But to say women as a whole have skewed anything would be treating all women as a monolith which is to be as sexist as oh so many feminists. Something I am staunchly against.

I am first and foremost most not an anti-feminist. But I am allowed here if I'm civil, which has always been my aim.

I am an anarchist, specifically a syndicalist. I believe in free association, mutual aid, and democratic consensus driven political discourse. Plus all the no gods, no masters, no bootlickers business. And lots of unions. So many unions.

I would have to disagree that the generic left has abandon the idea of men's liberation. There's even a sub for that, arrrr slash MensLib. They do a pretty good job of tackling our issues without all the hang ups and anger that I see in other more, canonically "manosphere" aligned communities.

Anyway, I do think liberals (not leftists mind) have lost a lot of the thread. And also that quote unquote "rainbow capitalism" is garbage. Nobody wants to be pandered to and given a day or a week or a month for their special little niche issue or whatever.

What we, well me and my solidarity group anyway, can't speak for all of the left afterall, but generally this should be about right, want is full equality for everybody in as egalitarian a manner as possible. That's sort of why I'm here in AF, because I saw people passionately hoisting egalitarianism. They may fall short of actually believing it, we're human afterall, but the seeds are here.

To your last specific question, do I feel women have skewed society to the "political left"? No, not really. You get a mix of weird girlboss folks who are describable as power hungry, which in proper dose is understandable but oft times runs off into madness in a small sector, a vocal minority if you will, and that's just kind of what capitalism requires of everybody to "get ahead". Then you also have your "pick mes" which I personally find just grating and disingenuous. But if they want to lick boots and **** ****, then whatever I guess. Neither of these are particularly leftist concepts.

The actual leftist feminist women I know are generally all very supportive of men's liberation issues. A short list of tenets here, circumcision is nonconsentual mutilation, conscription to war is unconscionable, men should have parental rights if they are fit (and mothers who are not shouldn't, no default judgements just because woman), men should be able to talk about their feels free from judgement or stigma, dangerous jobs should be paid appropriately for either sex/gender willing and able to perform them, men should definitely be allowed to work with and care for children of all ages should they like(no pedos of either sex/gender thanks), rape is something that either sex can do to the other or the same and that's bad, and false accusations just muck things up and shouldn't happen(and should be called out when it happens, with civility of course), and that generally this thing called patriarcy hurts us all. Very few of us are rich and powerful enough to dehumanize and exploit people of all genders for their own personal gain. It's unfortunately true that most of these powerful humans just happen to be men. And it sucks that normal men get caught in an earnest attempt to "punch up" at the elite of society. And yes there are many many misguided women out there that sneer in contempt of all men regardless of any evidence they deserve it (usually they don't or they're just acting badly because they don't know better or are in so much pain they just don't care any more, I'm mostly referring to men, but the same could be said of women as well.) We need to stop all the punching in general, look around and figure out who we are and what we want and then go f'ing take it from the people keeping it from us.

I hope you all like this. I did spend a good deal of time distilling my thoughts into something that fits the theme, doesn't judge and tries to illuminate. And as a fellow human, I love you all, warts and all. Solidarity forever! Willing to answer/respond to other kind humans inquiry about any of this.

I am a gamer for the most part, and have an interest in female fanservice in fictional media. If you don't know what female "fanservice" is, it's basically attractive/sexy women in games, anime, manga, comics, etc. I would also say movies as well, but proper scantily-clad "hot women" (like, Pamela Anderson and Elisha Cuthbert from the 1990s/early 2000s) are no longer allowed in them because feminists despise anything appealing to the male audience.

Back a decade ago, Anita Sarkeesian and her ilk spewed all the feminist/SJW rubbish about attractive/sexy female characters in games were "misogyny", "sexism", "for the male gaze", "leads to violence/SA/R against women" and "unacceptable". Since that, the mainstream games media/outlets (Kotaku, Polygon, etc.) also spew the same crap as Sarkeesian does, resulting in Western developers stopping creation of attractive female characters in their games, instead purposely making them ugly, average-looking and obnoxious. Ridiculous censorship of attractive female characters in Japanese/Korean/etc. games via localization is also happening as a result of this feminist ideology.

Other things that infuriates is the banning of Grid Girls, Car Babes, Booth Babes, Boxing Ring Girls, etc. which is also caused by the feminist/SJW ideology.

I dislike both the Left and Right.

The Left generally because they are basically pro-censorship of fictional attractive female characters from the feminist "objectification" and "sexism" angle. They are also feminist, white-knights, man-hating misandrists who also advocate for some inappropriate beliefs in schools via the Rainbow movement.

The Right, they are also very pro-censorship of fictional media as well, namely attractive female characters, from the religious Christian angle. They also consist of Tradcons, who are also gynocentric and white-knighting but in different ways. They still s**t on men who don't meet their "standard" of "what a man should be" (basically, be a slave to women in traditional settings).

I do really like this question!

Myself, I’m more right leaning. I’m very pro gun and small government. Not a big fan of taxes but I understand the need and believe it’s been overdone by a lot. Very pro fathers rights and mens rights in general. Personally I’m anti abortion however I don’t feel the need to force that upon everyone else although I think fathers need some rights when it comes to this subject. I’m not religious myself but I do see a value of religious moral principles but like with everything else things get taken to the extremes. Not much faith in humanity overall. Not sure what else to say. I think that sums it up enough.

Im classical liberal, im not sure where that falls, somewhere between center left and center right. I believe and i encourage antifeminism to accept all political leanings, our only and exclusive goal should be to push back against feminism, everything else is irrelevant.

I think our system has too much beaurocratic bloat.

Everything about classical liberalism is derived from the tenets of liberalism such as bodily autonomy, the equal value of every human being, justice before the law.

I'm not 100% behind the laissez-faire part because I don't believe in trickle-down economics, and some ecological regulation is necessary.

It's basically an 1800s liberal revision of the values the U.S. was founded on before it got tainted into neoliberal corporatist shilling.

Conservative, although with some libertarian leanings.

I'm not so much "anti-feminist" as I am "anti anyone who talks crap." I believe in rationalism over emotionalism, and find that progressives do poorly in that regard. I've known and respected a couple of liberals that I respect, but they were intelligent and didn't think in simplistic slogans.
