For instance:

1- They want a guy taller than them.

2- They wear high heels in order to look taller.

3- It's not uncommon for mothers, to be concerned about their sons' height

Yet at the same time:

1- Women don't seem to care much about men's weight. How often do you hear women say "I want a fit man"? but they sure say "I want a tall man"

2- They care very little about their own weight, they even have a movement called "body positivity" which celebrates female obesity.

3- I don't think they care that much about their kids' body weight otherwise fast food restaurants like McDonald's or Dunkin Donuts would go out of business.

So my question is: Why do so many women place such a high emphasis on height, which is a genetic trait that says nothing about a person's health, yet at the same time, they care so little about weight or body fat percentage- traits that are the result of our habits regarding diet and exercise and say a lot about our health?

Thank you for your time.
