I'd say it's worth watching a few videos on Narcissist Personality Disorder (and maybe BPD) living in a narc family is it's whole different thing and finding this out now will save you a whole lot of heart ache and mental trauma especially if you're the family scapegoat. NPD isn't something that usually gets diagnosed so it's worth knowing abit about it so you can spot it, narc abuse victims often go on to attract narcs all throughout their life, atleast until they learn about NPD.

I lived in an all female household and yikes man. How about stoicism? Learn to deal with your shit on your own, be articulate, non reactionary, and communicate in order to connect with them, do what you can to be the mature one and give people the benefit of the doubt and if they're unresponsive and always prioritize drama over ending conflicts move on. Drop them like how you'd drop a hot potato.

I would just avoid talking about it for the most part. With 5 of them they’ll just gang up on you and never listen to a word you say regardless. It’s like talking to flat earthers. Nothing you say and no evidence you present will change their mind. Might as well just avoid the subject and try to have a decent relationship with them.

- Toss them a pickle jar and watch them struggle to open it, but remain stubborn enough not to ask for help. Then when they set it down after their failure - easily open it.

- Leave the toilet seat up.

- Literally just outright ignore conversations you don't want to be a part of even if they try to talk directly to you just say "i'm not interested" and move the conversation on.

- personally everyone in my family knows i have a dark sense of humour (plus im British so im inherently sarcastic) so i just crack jokes about men and women being stereotypes... even the feminists laugh when i tell them to get back in the kitchen because i also take the piss out of the guys and myself.

- just be yourself and if they don't like it then it doesn't matter.

i shut up as soon as they talk about it. they know where i stand so they still provoke me by mischaracterizing my positions but at least they don't yell and call the psychiatric medical guard. it's still humiliating but not as humiliating.

i rarely get back at them when i can say something witty, usually when they completely contradict themselves.

for example when my sister complained about tits being pulled from youtube (or something) because of our male chauvinistic cis hetero patriarchal society, i said "i'm a heterosexual patriarchal male and if there's one thing i can't stand it's titties and naked women in general. good riddance!".

it's useless to point out it must have been feminists or at least women who complained about the tits unless i want to anger them but laughing at them if i'm a bit creative shakes them up a bit

Get salty on your responses. Mock the patriarchy by pointing out why men are generally superior. Ask them questions about what they can't do that you can. Flow it up with appreciating women because of their more nurturing nature Bd being able to child birth. Tell them all the excuses in the world doesn't change natural order.

Because honestly they could just regular women who don't need a guy to take charge, they could very well just be more independent than you thought.
