Studies have actually shown that women promote slut shaming more than men do. And that women are more concerned with perceived 'body counts' than men are. Especially when it comes to their peers. They care more about other women's sexual history than their potential male partner's sexual history. And they are generally less tolerant of women they perceive as promiscuous or slutty.

Also, one of the most prominent features of the 3rd Wave Feminist movement was its anti-pornography and anti-sex worker stances. Particularly Andrea Dworkin, who considered sex itself a form of violence against women. She managed to demonize and bring harsh and unforgiving legislation against pornography and sex-workers in the 70s and 80s. Rolling back a trend of tolerance and regulation that had been building at the time.

In a wider note, women often perceive sex as a form of power and control over men. Shown most prominently when an advocacy group calls for a 'sex strike' amongst women against men to promote some cause. The most recent use of this I believe was the overturning of Roe V. Wade. And demonizing casual sex, pornography, and sex-work is another layer of this control. Though this is generally considered an extremely controversial stance to take.

What I'm trying to say is... Men are not the ones that are being prudish and slut-shaming. Its women doing that.

There is no homogenous group opinion on slut shaming. Some men do, some men don't. It's an individualistic nature. Femimists is a herd mentality group so they project what they hear on the entire group.

Slut shaming is overwhelmingly done by women, not men.

And if women are more willing to marry the “player” the “chad” than men are to marry the “town slut” it’s because more women are arrogant enough to have the “he’ll change for ME” than the guys are to think that she’ll somehow stop sleeping with whoever comes along that takes her fancy. At least the woman will always know her children are her own.

It makes sense.

I do not look down on women who enjoy sex. But if you’re going to marry one, you need to have a reasonable likelihood that she’ll stay faithful. She’ll expect you to be after all, and given the way laws and courts are, you don’t want an involvement with someone who will move on easily especially if you get hit for child support for someone else’s kid.

Men are allowed to have preferences and if they don't want slutty women that's their choice.

Mating issues for incels are more about disabilities, being treated equally and struggles fitting in socially than a physical sex issue.

The point is many men seek sexual women, not shame them. As other answers have said, it’s other women who are more judgmental, often due to jealousy. I think the whole slut shaming concept is far over played. Apart from immature high school students, most males apply the same standards to men and women. Men who believe in free love equally think it’s fine for both men and women. Most men who think sex should only happen between a husband and wife also equally believe this of men and women.

The whole slut shaming concept is largely used as yet another way of claiming women are victims, and to the degree it is true, it’s women more than men who are doing the shaming.

I am also 100% for sex workers and think it should be legal and accessible.

However no guy wants to marry a sex worker.

This is where the slut shaming occurs because of this double view of sex workers that most men have.

Because those Women want it both ways, and the disconnect and shaming comes when they cant. Of course, by this point, its MEN that are the problem.

They want the ability to sleep around, but also to be in a loving relationship. When a guy says he doesnt wanna be with the town bike, suddenly the guy is a sexist. Men are/have been getting ahead of the game by attempting to get them to see reason, to no avail, ergo Shaming...
