That's all good. Was thinking SSI/disability. The most I've ever made in the 16 year marriage was $32k back in 2017. She's made more $ than I the entire marriage

Attorneys are like meteorologists. They guess all the time, are maybe right half the time. Still getting paid. Should have been an attorney

That's why attorneys in divorce cases are very reluctant to take divorce cases w/o being paid first.

Because most of the time, after it's all said and done, both parties are left destitute.

But yes, if you owe money to your attorney, and your divorce is done, you can include the attorney debts in the bankruptcy case.

Try to negotiate with the attorney and other debtors. Bankruptcy should be last option
