I really dunno what's up. My relationship with my parents is fine at the moment. My mom has some mental health issues, but we've more or less worked out some solid boundaries. There honestly hasn't been a single significant incident between us in like 3 months. They love and support me, and are just interested in my life.

But god, I am so fucking bugged when they talk to me and I don't know why. I don't even wanna be around them. Whenever they talk to me I'm short and standoffish cause I just wanna end the conversation and GTFO. I have this fierce internal resistance to being around them and interacting with them. It makes it worse cause then they think something's wrong with me or I'm mad at them, so they talk to me MORE to try and fix it. Especially my mom, she just asks and asks and asks pointless filler questions just for the sake of talking to me.

If they come to the living room and I'm hanging out, I'll just say hi then discretely slip out a couple minutes later to hang out in my room.

I'm honestly just trying to be pleasant, but I for some weird reason don't even have the capacity to engage in full conversation with them anymore. I just wanna end the conversation ASAP.

This started about two weeks ago when I started a cut to lose weight and quit porn at the same time. So maybe my hormones got thrown out of wack or something.

Is this normal? Anything I can try doing about it?
