I went to a speed dating event which was really fun! Anyways, I just wanna make the observation that nobody asked for my number. It was clear that the guys were interested in me but they were very passive and often I was the one asking for their numbers. It's a little discouraging. I'm truly making efforts to put myself out there in the dating world but it makes me a little sad and feel less feminine/desirable that I have to be the one to make the first move.
