I’m centrist and lean right. I mostly have lefty friends and a handful of them complain about how republicans are so hard to talk to and can’t see reason, but if I ever bring up a counter argument they get real defensive and angry. So I’ve learned to not add to the conversation when they talk about politics.

I once had a girlfriend that thought I was on the verge of being alt right because I didn’t agree with her super liberal views.

I used to be a left leaning person but after going through a bad breakup and realizing everything the right said about the left was 100% correct not saying that the right is good itself, I started deleting right and now I'm starting to lean heavily right.

I used to hate conservative values and I used to hate their ideology but I'm starting to realize they spew the same shit as the left, and the only difference is statistically they're more consistent.

You can't really be right leaning on the topic, when caring about mens rights.

Wanting better rights for men, make you progressive/left leaning by definition (in that area). Which also means that feminists are conservative when it comes to mens rights.

I don't think it's possible to split this issue on the American left-right scale like this. So saying more conservatives are pro-mens rights is not provable.

And your poll is gonna be biased towards conservatives since this sub is. Leftwing MRAs have dedicated subs, since they don't "feel at home" here and a lot of other MRA subs.

Personally, I'd say I'm somewhere between the Right and the Left, and believe that both sides of the spectrum make fair points and need each other to balance themselves out, as well as allow society to thrive. Most people on the Left believe that I'm a conservative, whereas most people on the Right would consider me a liberal.

The radical-Right is just as evil as the radical Left if not more. I should know, I left a fucking Right-Wing ConservaTHUG/FundaMENTAList cult over 12 years ago to become a progressive (Center-Left) Christian and I never looked back. There was so much hate, abuse and violence there against assertive women, LGBT people, people of color, the disabled, etc, they were also tryint to force people into very strict so-called traditional "gender roles" and to "beat/pray the gay or the gender noncomformity away". I was often abused and treated like garbage for being an an assertive woman who was dreaming of autonomy and independence and also for being a bisexual and gender-fluid. Some of them upon finding out that I was bi and gender-fluid told me that I would do the entire world a favor if I just went out and killed myself because they said that you're better off dead than bi and gender-fluid.

They think that if you're anything other than cishet you're "a spawn of Satan" or "mentally ill" and that they need to "pray the gay/bi/trans" away or they stereotyped all LGBT people as being "groomers", "pedo creeps" and "a threat to children and society" and the very existence of LGBT people as "sexually-oriented" or "inherently sexual" because they can't seem to be able to understand that LGBT people, just like cishet people, are humans beings and not walking genitals and that just like cishet people LGBT people are much more than just their sexuality and their gender identity, also not only did they stereotype all LGBT people as child predators, they also conveniently turned a blind eye to all the child predators in their own party, the Conservative party, and in their Conservative "churches" and all the child marriage, child rape and child pregnancy and deadly abortion bans going on in America and on the American continent, and of course some parts of Canada back in the days, and this fucked up shit is excused/defended by the Right, Conservatives are projecting hypocrites and their every accusation of rape, child grooming and child sexual abuse is a confession).

Conservative all the way, I have never voted for either democrat or republican since I graduated high school, one thing for sure I think that we should be Mass producing any type of fruit or vegetable that grows here in North America, we should federally legalize marijuana and if not then we should ban tobacco alcohol and Other Drugs, I don't really like too many people and I just mean being surrounded by a whole bunch of them who I don't know of course that's common sense for anybody who doesn't want unnecessary trouble. I'm not a jackass because I have a deep passion for large machinery not just big lifted trucks but pay loaders excavators farm tractors big rigs and of course muscle cars and JDM for Motorsports. I get into politics I'm going to be a dictator, I'll give people the freedom they desire however I will be much harder on big business cuz there's more respect in how the black market trades then how legal corporate treats their employees and customers along with how they forcefully conquer neighborhoods by surrounding them with business warehouses so that the property value goes down and people have no choice but to leave their homes.

Left leaning socially, but unfortunately the political left is absolutely beholden to feminism and is therefore passively or actively hostile to men and masculinity.

That being said we're heading in deeply difficult times, so it's time to tighten the belt on social programs to make sure that we can get through the crisis without too much damage.

I just wish the right weren't so religious (in the US) and weren't so anti-climate change, given that climate change is probably the biggest threat to society we face.

So stuck between man-hating spenders who won't help society, or the religious climate change deniers who won't help society.
