In a sane society, both of these women would be in prison and have their freedoms severely restricted for life. But everyone knows that cruel & selfish women get away with their behavior.

This is why you NEVER combine finances. If you do couple up or get married (which is a bad idea), be sure to shield your assets. The best way is to avoid getting married, but definitely don't combine checking accounts, then you're screwed.

people really need to stop citing the DailyMail it’s notoriously sensationalist, and outright lies all the time.

i’m not saying this story is cos i don’t know and i’m not going to spend ages independently research this story, but it is likely blown out of proportion.
