Let's take the statement, "Not all men are rapists." I'm using the definition of rape as forced penetration, not regret sex, or asking a woman if you can buy her a drink.

It's objectively true. However, the way it's worded implies that most men are rapists, which is not true. A small minority of men are rapists.

The implication is what people are reacting to. In other words, feelings.

I don't like the phrase "not all men". It almost looks like men are begging to be treated well by their superiors and that they are better than "those men". It's like African Americans or Jewish people begging the KKK or the Nazis with "not all Black/Jewish people".

A proper retaliation to "kill all men" is "kill all women" and if you want it to be more attention-grabbing and inflammatory, then "spay/skin/burn all women" to give them a taste of their own medicine. There's no reasoning with those freaks, either way.

There are some semantics at work which could explain the difference.

killallmen is an active statement encouraging a call-to-arms from a population famous for doing very little, which in fact makes it an ironic statement because they never will do that and they know it too well

notallmen is a retaliatory statement trying unsuccessfully to rebut a falsehood

Here's the thing about the second statement: it is also a falsehood. It's usually used in the case of "all men are.... [rapists/aggressive/wife beaters, etc]" which in itself is untrue. But the rebuttal of "notallmen" implies, yes, most men are, which ironically proves their point.

A better response is "most men are/are not [X/Y]".

Yeah, it's amazing how people can see someone go "I don't think you should blame all men for the actions of a tiny minority who everyone already hates", get mad at the people defending men, and think they've won.

It's just a thought-terminating cliche.

If women are evil enough to KAM then let them hurry up and do it.

I'd rather be dead than have to hurt women or kill women to survive, to me that kind of world is not worth living in.

Unironically I've literally never heard someone say all men are rapists, murderers or cheats - either online or offline. Obviously if you look hard enough you can find a handful of people saying it and then over-focus on it.
