There is some hardcore irony here. Cause.... not everyone believes Auschwitz was wrong. Some people don't even believe it is a thing.

But rape is kind of a standard sort of thing. I mean, even the people that are cool with Auschwitz are not down with rape.

I've played the game like 4 times here at University, and there's definitely a 'Roofies' card. If that isn't a rape joke, I'm not sure what is. There are also the cards 'Raping and Pillaging' & 'Date Rape', and if you count the black cards that can easily be warped with a white card to be made to sound pretty rapey you get some more rape jokes.

Cards Against Humanity is supposed to be terribly offensive, it's the whole point of the game. What next? Learning about white privilege in Carcassone?

And yes, everyone recognizes that rape is wrong. Rape jokes are in fact predicated on recognizing that rape is wrong. If rape were not seen as an act of evil deserving of moral outrage, joking about it would not be funny. The humor of rape jokes comes from the transgressiveness of the material, not "HAHAHA REAL LIFE RAPE IS HILARIOUS!!!"

Rape Jokes are funny for exactly the same reason as Auschwitz jokes - the fact that we all agree that these things are terrible.

And to cite George Carlin on the matter, if you don't think rape can be funny then picture Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd.

There are quite a few rape and child sexual abuse jokes in the game actually, with more in the extended packages. It's all online. The author is full of shit, just pandering to the social justice circle jerk. Heaven forbid the movement stop drinking the kool aid and come down on CaH, so I don't blame the authors for pulling out bullshit stats and lies about no rape jokes... Money rules.
