Different kinds of muscles, in my opinion. Not to say she's being fair, but have you see the muscles on top of muscles that are in comic books? How about a 28 pack and two extra deltoids? Like, sometimes it's almost grotesque in comic books. Women often aren't attracted to seriously overmuscled men. Much like how most men actually aren't attracted to the skinniest possible woman, extremely muscular men aren't the ideal for most women either.

I think the problem is with her entire premise that it's wrong that many female superheroes are made to look attractive to men. Superhero comics are an escapist fantasy; they are not meant to reflect real life. Some modern comics choose to ignore that at their own peril.

That’s not hypocritical and some of you fellas will do well by listening to her.

Yes, women prefer muscles on men but there’s two kinds of muscles one is the bulk muscles of a superhero or body builders while the other is strength muscles of an athlete.

Go for lean muscle or strength muscle as the pics on the right show not the bulk muscle that you see on superheroes. The notion that for women the bigger muscles the better on men is as big a lie as men preferring skinny women - the skinnier the better. Women prefer the functional muscles of a healthy man and men prefer women on the healthy side of the upper end of the BMI.

Lean muscle is much easier to get, is useful in life, is healthy for you to have, and almost all women will respond positively to it.

If only men and women listened to each other instead of people selling us crap we’d all be a lot happier.
