Thousands of dads are left in shock as DIY paternity tests soar. Up to 30,000 tests are being performed every year, says Alphabiolabs. In the UK about 750,000 babies are born every year. Feminists want the test to be illegal without the written consent of the mother.

Women, please be respectful and do not enter men's locker rooms. Thanks.

[–][deleted] 42 points43 points44 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Tell me about it. At the University of Toronto, women enter men's washrooms all the time. Women it seems are the real sexual predators of the modern era.

I once had a girl try and rip down my pants because she felt like it and my climbing around the cricket nets was annoying her I would have tried to get her in trouble if she wasn't surrounded by friends and I know these girls so they would have lied their asses off so she wouldn't get in trouble and I would for false accusations and shit oh and they were unsuccessful in their attempts to pull my paints down I just grabbed them so they wouldn't go down and may or may not have lightly kicked her

I’m curious if anyone has tried the reverse & what the fallout was? Police called?

'Blacks, please be respectful and do not come in.'

'Jews, please be respectful and do not come in.'

'Women, please be respectful and do not come in.'

Isn't it fascinating how 'respect' in passive-aggressive womanspeak usually means 'eat shit' in common English?

1950s "segregation is bad and unfair"

2019 "segregation is good an only fair"

[–]KappaHaus 26 points27 points28 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm confused....surely any guy can simply say "uh...yeah I'm non-binary..or whatever..." and get in?

As in how are they going to police that? You can't TELL a guy he is not 'non-binary' if he says he is!

[–]GingerRazz 23 points24 points25 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Better yet, claim you're gender fluid and right now, you identify as non-binary. After it's over, you can go back to identifying as a man because gender fluid. You can be non-binary one hour a week and a women when applying for social programs, and if anyone has a problem they're invalidating your lived experience as a gender fluid individual.

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 18 points19 points20 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm gender fluid, I identity sexually as a liquid. So everyone has to get my consent before entering the pool. Otherwise that's rape.

[–]Akesgeroth 45 points46 points47 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

An sent an email to students saying the session was 'not a sanction against men'.

Specifically excluding men is not meant as a sanction against men. Right. Fuck you.

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 22 points23 points24 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Non-whites, please note you're banned from the pools and remember to use your specific water fountains.

But don't be offended, this isn't against you!

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 22 points23 points24 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is not a sanction against men. This is to serve a community that is marginalised and does not necessarily feel safe or comfortable exercising with men.

At a historically women's college.

It would be about like a private Christian college banning Muslims from the pool because some students don't feel safe.

This is toxic femininity: using feigned victimization to bully others.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's almost as if they expected the worm not to turn.

[–]Maito_Guy 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"This is to serve a community that is marginalised" She says while marginalising a community that is vastly under represented in higher education.

[–]Aussiemate2 10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Jews if you don't mind coming into this public space for an hour's thank you no I'm not a racist no I'm not a nazi I just don't feel safe around you with all shit aside they brought this is because apparently they don't feel safe around men ok what about the men that don't feel safe working out around women because the just got out of an abusive relationship with a female or their mother was abusive to them so they feel unsafe and uncomfortable around women if they were to give me an hour to themselves there wouldn't be a problem here but they brought this on themselves

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Individually, women are wonderful. Collectively they are moronic bigots.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago* (19 children) | Copy Link

I agree w/ the idea of women-only hours. However they are sexist and men only hours should be created as well

[–][deleted] 32 points33 points34 points 7 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

Or we can all work out and stop dividing spaces by gender.

[+][deleted] -12 points-11 points-10 points 7 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Some people might very well be uncomfortable in a mixed-gender space. The discomfort is understandable.

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points21 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Those people should stay the fuck at home.

[+][deleted] -10 points-9 points-8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I meant working out in a mixed-gender space.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Doesn’t mean you should exclude the other gender from the gym space (that I assume they pay for). Suck it up, the presence of another gender should not be enough to make you uncomfortable. And if it does, that’s your problem.

[–]BigDCSportsFan -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's fucking irritating that gyms like this exist where men are blatantly not allowed. I ain't never heard of no women's or non-binary only gyms, and they should NOT be a thing. Since when were gyms segregated by gender? This is fucking ridiculous, man.

These women and non-binary folk need to understand that we men need our damn spots too to lift wtb. Not every man goes to the gym to creep on girls wearin' sports bras. We just want to get in our workout like erryone else!

[–]Mythandros 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

So?

So you're telling me if one person is uncomfortable with something, their discomfort should affect others?

Your right to work out alone in a public space ends where mine not to begins.

You don't get to inflict your own flaws and insecurities on others.

Don't like working out in public? Do it at home, then. It's real simple.

[–]wrong_hole_lol 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Not everything has to be black and white. Having female AND male only hours that aren't prime time could be a net benefit. If it increases participation in healthy activity, it's a win for society.

The women AND men that might go to an event like this are most certainly not going to work out at home.

[–]tenchineuro 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not everything has to be black and white. Having female AND male only hours that aren't prime time could be a net benefit. If it increases participation in healthy activity, it's a win for society.

IRL, we see only woman-only spaces, so it's not so much a win for society as men paying for shit they are not allowed to use, in this case CIS-men.

The women AND men that might go to an event like this are most certainly not going to work out at home.

That's their choice, and this is not an 'event', it's 7-8PM every Wednesday.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree that is sexist, which is why there should women-only and men-only hours.

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Some people are uncomfortable with having anyone else in the pool.

They don't get to kick everyone out.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the issue is that this is a university gym where the males and females both pay tuition. I have nothing against single sex gyms. Some people want to work out without having to worry, especially religious men and women who may want to work out shirtless. But if everyone is paying for the gym, you can’t make it segregated. Pay extra for your own gym, or book a room for the women’s club just like any other club can book a room

[–]BigDCSportsFan -4 points-3 points-2 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

It's a fucking gym. Who the hell feels uncomfortable in a gym?

This is literally gatekeeping an hour per day for "women or non-binary" only. How is this permissible? Shit, if I want to go to the gym tomorrow will I be guilted because women feel uncomfortable just because I want to lift weights without bothering them? Shiiiieeet.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I agree it is sexist, have a men-only hour a day as well.

People who come from certain religious or comfortable backgrounds naturally don't feel comfortable working out in a mixed gender environment (e.g. Hijabi Muslim women). Also, someone who is self-conscious about his / her appearance might not want to work out around the opposite gender.

[–]BigDCSportsFan -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

A gym shouldn't have gender restrictions. This is common sense.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

How is it common sense?

[–]Chronoguy -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's common sense because nothing and no one in a gym requires you to be either male or female. Therefore there is no reason to restrict it.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Segregation is stepping backwards obviously.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is an easy obstacle to overcome. You go in, and when they object you tell them you identify as a guinea pig. Simple.

[–]SockCuck 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminism stands against discrimination on the grounds of gender.

[–]alt691 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Girton College is an inclusive community

Inclusivity through exclusivity!

We deplore the fact that a poster advertising access to the gym was defaced.'

It wasn't advertising access, it was advertising repudiation.

The college have since replaced the vandalised poster and are to continue their women and non-binary gym sessions.

So they've learned nothing.

[–]andejoh 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Doesn't that violate the equalities act? Women are not under represented. What about non-binaries who are not comfortable in the presence of women or Muslin men who are not comfortable in the presence of women? Shouldn't there be men only hours and maybe classes as well?
