Framing everything as "left vs right" is a big part of the media's job. They have to keep that Overton window tightly restricted. Otherwise, people might start having unapproved thoughts.

I'm sick of the misconception that we only have a finite number of rights to pass around. Giving 1 group rights doesn't take them away from others. Men have issues that differ from women's there shouldn't have been a counter protest at all.

This is slander, pure and simple, it really is getting to the point now with the media where I think there are public figures who will be completely justified in suing them. They will of course play the victim and scream about free speech but I do think this is the only way to stop them from lying so frequently.

The fact is, they are the only ones a lot of people will watch on television, people genuinely believe this bullshit they're spewing even if they don't agree with the left and get scared away by the labels or worse genuinely believe the media without doing any fucking research into the topics themselves.

The SPLC is a prime example of this and it's very interesting that when they mention 'knives were found' they didn't say who they belonged to, funny that.

The men's march organiser Sydney Watson got a lot of publicity for herself but she made the event highly partisan, strongly associating the MRM with fascism, white supremacism and the extreme right. Allowing the presence of those groups is an indelible message not diminished by her verbal claim to be non-partisan.

The presence of the fascists etc was so well known in advance that Antifa and CARF (Campaign Against Racism and Fascism) attended in force. Note these are not feminist groups, they were only there for the fascists and white separatists.

Whether the fascists and white supremacists are officially invited or not makes no difference to the public, the fact they are attracted and which side they are on is enough. That should be taken into account when planning an event. If they can not be prevented from hijacking an event then that event should not be considered viable.

Later, one of the Proud Boys launched himself bodily at the counterprotesters before being subdued by police and dragged away.
