I put a deposit down on a house and then told my wife that I would be moving there after closing (an hour away from my current home). I told her I think we need to live apart for several months to see if we really want a divorce. If we realize we still love each other, then I can move back in and rent out the home I am purchasing (it is a hot rental market). She is of course, extremely pissed and furious at me. I told her then we can simply divorce and not go through this next step. She doesn't like that either. My question is does anyone have any experience with this? If so, what were the details? Also, did you wind up getting back together or just moved forward to a divorce? Thanks guys!
