I've noticed that women who actually have feminine characteristics and look are ridiculed by other women a lot.
I'm also writing a paper on femininity and the majority of the articles/studies that I used only associated femininity with outward beauty which made me a little frustrated. I just want to know why feminine attributes in women are not valued as much or often made fun of (especially by other women). I get that a woman's appearance is important but don't certain attributes come into play when you want to be seen as feminine overall?
