This is my first time posting here so hopefully this makes cohesive sense.

Libfem dating principles all focus on things that are bad on the woman’s end, such as sleeping with the guy on the first date, approaching/pursuing men, etc., as a form of ‘empowerment’ and ‘equality’ when really this is a sure way to land an extremely low value male. Why are these things becoming more popular and touting an egalitarian dating culture when it’s really just blatant cultural misogyny and adding burden to the disproportionate labor and safety risk women already go through?

Why is 50/50 for the first date applauded by libfem? I’ve never paid for a date in my life but I’ve recently become aware of the fact it’s becoming more and more common. One of my friends recently told me she always pays for half or all of the first date because she ‘feels bad’ men have to spend money on her. A woman paying for a date is like a platonic meetup, there is nothing romantic about that.

I’m also aware of libfem’s stance on other things such as commitment, sex, and porn unfortunately. Many of these things are being reinforced by fellow women which I think is the most disappointing, because of the fact many of our own gender are being sold the libfem ideology and perpetuating it so strongly. I’m 22 now, but as a teenager, I thought libfem was the only true form of feminism because it was literally being marketed as such, but now I know better.
