As much as it's probably frustrating to hear, there's no secret tips or tricks to forming romantic relationships, especially if you want them to be genuine. I would honestly say to you, just be genuine. Don't try to take yourself or whoever you're interested in too seriously, try to keep a light heart and an open mind when it comes to dating. Be a decent person. It might get you laid, it might not, but either way it's a much better path longterm. Because the thing is, much like the dark side, once you start down the asshole path, it will forever control your destiny.

For more specific advice, be outgoing, don't stress too much, don't get overly clingy, but don't be too passive either, express real interest, ask questions, actually try to get to know the person.

But only if it's sincere. If you're just looking to get laid, be honest about that.

I mean, no one should be claiming that being yourself and talking about your feelings is easy. Important, helpful, healthy. Sure. Easy? Nope. Not for the vast majority of people.

You are 18. The choices you make now are going to drastically affect your life in the future. You should have some goals outside of mindlessly banging girls by any means necessary. Your choices will also define how a lot of people see you. Do you want to be the fuckboy nobody wants to talk to again? Because I guarantee you, if you manipulate your way into insecure girls' pants, they're all going to cringe when they look back on what happened later. After high school is over, making friends gets a lot harder. Make sure you're more than just 'that dumbass who lied to me and my three friends and then gloated to all his buddies'.

If all you want is sex, be honest about that. Be safe. And for the love of god don't fall down the rabbit hole of 'women are sluts because some of them had sex with me'. My honest advice, sex isn't a life changing thing. It's not like you'll wake up the next day having reached nirvana.
