We are all raised from birth to hate women. Including us, we hate women too. It's part of our social conditioning. We are raised with stories like Eve* and Pandora, stories that are about the very nature of humans, and how women specifically are to blame for all the evils that man faces. Stories that tell us that women deserve nothing more than punishment. We get stories that tell us how out of control, crazy, awful, evil, dangerous, women are. This is why they need to be controlled, they need to be punished, they deserve pain and seclusion, and so much more. And men of course are the ones to do this, they are the ones that must control us, and thus are deserving of our praise for their sacrifice.

Women are bitchy. Women are gossips. Women are back stabbers. Women hate women. Women are our own worst enemy. Women are hysterical. Women are temptresses - never trust a single mother with your man. Women are whores. Women are harpies. Women are conniving. Women are stupid. Women are useless. Women are to blame. Women are to blame. Women are to blame.

We all learn all of these things, and more, from day one. We are told these things overtly and openly, but also quietly, subtly, in ways that are barely recognisable.

Men are the controllers, the victims of women, therefore they learn to hate women in unique and unusual ways. Sexual ones most of the time too. But they hate us because we are to blame for all the ills they have to deal with.

Women also hate women though, we hate each other and ourselves. It is part of why so many women (and it's a lot) are drawn to bdsm and kink, because we believe that we deserve the pain and the punishment, it is our due. We gain pleasure from it because it is the pleasure of justice being done. We hate ourselves because we are to blame for the sorry state of men. And we are simultaneously raised to love men, be kind, worship men, and so of course we must hate women for hurting men.

An interesting book that looks at some of this is Caliban and the Witch by Silvia Federici. Woman Hating by Andrea Dworkin has some good information too, but mostly only part 1 and 2, and the first chapter of part 3. After that is goes a bit, uhm, oooof. But still, the start of it is very good and explains a lot.

*and no it doesn't matter if you were raised in a non-Eve religion or as an atheist, we all get indoctrinated by the story of Eve and Pandora, or similar stories in other religions, myths, lores, and tales.
