I’ve been asked this question a lot. A question I’m sure every single person in this group has been asked. “will you ever marry again?”

My usual response is “never say never”. However, here is my thought. Internally speaking, I’m leaning toward no. Why might you ask? The risk associated with marriage.

If I were to marry again and if it didn’t work, do I really want to go through the following...

-Being told or telling my spouse I want a divorce -finding an attorney -serving or being served papers -putting residence up for sale -dividing all property down to even silverware -discussing and agreeing on retirement accounts, money in bank, credit cards. Car loans, etc

  • just the overall every day stress of going through “the process”

These are just some points (not all) that I experienced for a divorce with no children. I can’t even imagine the stress you all went through with kids.

Here’s my question

Am I wrong to feel this way?
