Its unfair. The reason why men have to pay more is because they get into more accidents. which is because of job choice requiring them to drive more. I remember they made it illegal to discriminate on gender in driving somewhere, so insurance companies changed to occupation. After that men started paying more. Because the greatest factor isn't gender, but occupation. This is more fair because if i wanted a lower rate i could simply choose another job. I however, cannot change gender. (Without faking gender dysphoria which will just harm those who actually have it, and is committing fraud.) Price based off of gender should be illegal. Because if you are born the wrong gender you can't do anything but not drive a car if you wanted to lower your insurance rates. Which cripples your mobility and ability to find jobs etc etc. And there's nothing you could do about except committing fraud and faking gender dysphoria. Well only if its based on gender and not sex.

More men than women drive and meet with accidents in more numbers. That increases the demand and insurance cost.

Ok, so serious question. Say men do on average cause more accidents than women, so the cost is $100 more if you're male. Isn't this profiling? The same thing that is considered unethical in policing, choosing someone to pull over, search etc. or say in a business setting, not hiring women because they're more likely to take maternity leave? How do we decide when profiling is and isn't acceptable?

For clubs it’s because they kindve use woman as a bargaining chip for new customers. Like it’s good for their business to have women because it attracts men.

Not sure about the insurance honestly, if you signed up at different times she might have just gotten a deal, I think it might also depend on your car. But what do I know

Health insurance is usually more expensive for women because we can get pregnant. Its just based on statistics, and how likely you are to crash. You also pay more if you start driving at 16, than say at 19. I agree that this sucks, I think everyone should pay the same, and then pay more if something happens. (I'm speaking from US perspective).

In the uk it was expensive in the short term because men have more accidents when young. But got cheaper over the long run because men as they age have less accidents. Feminist did not like that so now it is even to stop discrimination.

The club charges less for women to encourage them to go. Women being in the club encourages men to go.

Women have their own price gouging issues. Razors, jeans, haircuts etc.
