some things in the results that stand out as questionable to me:

US data, people at risk of having the following freedoms violated, by % of experts who feel the group is at risk: https://rightstracker.org/en/country/USA?as=hi&tab=atrisk

Right to freedom from arbitrary arrest: Women/girls (7% of experts identified this group as being at risk of having this right violated), men/boys (0%)

Right to freedom from death penalty: LGBTQIA (14%), men/boys (0%)

Right to freedom from torture: women and girls (14%), men boys (0%)

Right to health: women/girls 58%, men/boys 8%

Right to work: women/girls 33%, men/boys 8%

I have some assumptions about these data points but i'm gonna look into the methodology first before i make any conclusions.

Edit: upon further investigation the indicators for HRMI right to health include the following:

*Modern Contraceptive use rate Child (under 5)

*survival rate Age 65

*survival rate %

*live births not low birth weight

Considering men's survival rate to age 65 is 8% less than women's (79.8% vs 87.5%), i'm not sure how experts decide on whether a group is at risk here. 58% of experts identified women as at risk, but only 8% identified men as at risk. I assume that access to contraceptives/abortion is given much more weight in this survey than survival rate to 65.

Edit 2: the arbitrary police arrest one also really baffles me. Men account for 73% of arrests in 2018 (most recent data i could find). How do 7% more experts think women are more at risk here?

Edit 3: seems like the methodology for the political/safety from the state rights ection is interviewing advocates for human rights, including lgbt and women's right's advocates with the following question:

In 2020, which people, if any, were especially likely to experience torture and ill-treatment, arbitrary and political arrest and detention, extrajudicial execution, death penalty execution, or disappearance by government agents, such as soldiers, police officers, and other state-sanctioned actors, in United States? (Select all that apply. You will have the opportunity to provide more detail on the next page.)

Then for each group you select the following prompt comes up:

In response to a previous question, you stated that women and/or girls were likely to experience one or more of the violations listed below. Which specific violations were government agents especially likely to commit against women and/or girls in United States during 2019?

So this data is has no basis in actual numbers of arbitrary arrests, extrajudicial executions, death penalty executions or otherwise.

To show how disconnected the numbers are from the responses to the survey let's look at the death penalty. In 2005, the Supreme Court in Roper v. Simmons struck down the death penalty for juveniles, yet 7% of "experts" feel that children are at risk of having their right to freedom from the death penalty violated.

The fact that it's 2020 and men are just considered now in reports about human rights is laughable.

Good work on your part to contact them.

But don't be surprised that just because they now include men, doesn't mean their findings or data will be at all honest, fair, unbiased, or accurate.

Great news! Maybe you should contact the UN and get the them to do the same in their determination of the Gender Inequality Index (GII), which deliberately omits situations where boys do worse than girls.
