Not only because you gonna lose a job, get on medical assistance but when your ass finally croaks, you're gonna cost the fire department time and labor to cut a fucking hole out of the wall of your house to get a fork lift in to pull you out, bob needs to bring his Ferd F-21030 with optional towing package to wheel your ass out on his cousins flat bed trailer, and you broke Jeff's back and Paul is out with a sprained ankle. Now you took out 2/3 of a fire department dying, and you just lowered the equity of the house your family member whom you presumably live with owned and how they gonna recoup the financial burden of calling in a contractor to repair the quadruple refrigerator sized hole in the wall, and now the city is coming at you for above and beyond duty fees.

I do lift, actually. I might not be an Adonis but I maintain a healthy weight and that's all I really need. And when I go to the gym, 7 out of 10 times I will get at least one jacked up musclehead who brags about how much he worked to attain his physique, even though I saw him juicing up in the locker room beforehand.
And when confronted they use the same "LULZ UR JUST FAT AND DON'T LIFT LIKE ME" shit you're trying to lay on me now, even though I come there every day and have a consistent exercise routine. Come on now.
You wanna know what a solid physique really looks like, son? Because it's not those juiced up monsters you see in the gym. Almost all of them lift for one thing: vanity. Their muscles have no utility aside from bolstering their egos.
Go to a strongman competition sometime. Or even just look at a picture of one. You'll find a lot of dudes who don't look like bodybuilders. In fact they'd probably be the kind of dudes you and your meathead friends call "fatass" if you saw them at the gym, even though they can lift way more than you can.
That's built for true power, and you just can't get that kind of thing with roids.
In short, yes, this is the ideal male body. This is what peak performance looks like. It doesn't look like what you see in your little gym.

I use whey protein and pre-workout. Neither of which are poison, and that’s just objectively factual. I also use sunscreen because tanning is a good way to get skin cancer and die early. Sorry, but I also don’t trust your “home cooked meal”. Fitness and nutrition is more complicated than “mama made her biscuits” or some random nonsense. I’d rather have something made by myself or inspected by the health department which is providing the right balance of protein and complex carbs and vitamins, at the right amount, from the right sources.

Almost nobody in the farming community is in good shape.
Lots of them are fairly strong. But they have terrible eating habits and sitting in a tractor is tiring but certainly isn't cardio or a workout.
They almost all have double chins and beer bellies. They drink 12-18 keystones a day. They have a dirty baseball cap they keep trying to tilt just right to like like the tough guy they think they are.

You're fairly correct yeah, there's a big difference in physical activity between a typical farm that grows corn or something, and a ranch that works with animals a lot.
I live in an area with plenty of both (and do neither myself lol) and the ranch guys tend to be pretty low body fat.

Yeah, I grew up around a lot of this. Farmers do tend to have a beer gut but ranchers are almost always in pretty damn good shape. The farmers that I know that are in great shape almost all either hit the gym or have home workout equipment that they use.

uh it depends. The farms where they don't have that machinery, and where they have to do everything by hand, that's when they can't be out of shape. And that's largely what she's picturing... the men on those farms in movies doing everything by hand.
Don't get me wrong... that's far and away the minority, and commonly depicted in movies, so she's largely fantasizing here for the most part.

Those farms don't really exist anymore because they're not profitable. Even hobby farmers use machinery to save time because they have day jobs to work. I work in the ag sector in a rural area. I sit behind a desk and I'm in better shape than the farmers I deal with.

In reality, farmers are definitely not built (usually). I grew up next to a farm, they where all either average or fat, except that one who was an amateur strongman and had a home gym. These days machines do all the heavy lifting.

Incorrect. That's not how that works. If I go on my Facebook and write "All women without exception are stupid", I should damn well expect any female I'm friends with, to basically tear me a new asshole.
