You'll often hear that it's neutral in the text, but this is only after an amendment to make that the case, and crucially the funding allocated under the version of the bill that excluded male victims was not re-allocated under the neutral version.

So it's like "The Education of White People" act outlining white peoples rights to education and so on and setting aside 1 billion a year for those purposes in terms of setting up white-only schools. Then people get angry, so you include "Okay, everyone is entitled to an education now, black people can have their own schools too.", but also include; "Funding already allocated should not be re-allocated because that would close some schools which are already set up and that's bad. We're also not going to increase the funding.".

That way, superficially the text of the bill is neutral, but the history behind it reveals it is anything but. The end result is one billion dollars of funding for white schools, and zero dollars for minority schools. But hey, you now have "Equal protection".

Same situation we have under VAWA regarding resources for male victims.
It's an example of ignoring the full scale of the injustice done by feminist activists to men and what needs to be done to fix it. It is not merely a superficial issue, it's a systemic one that goes back a long time and needs to be addressed systemically, not merely with "Oh, men too".

It's strange to me because after fifty years of feminist theory, I would expect feminism to be robust enough to withstand rigorous criticism. But surprisingly that is not the case.

Both r/feminism and r/menslib regularly censor criticism of feminism.

Honestly Catholics are more open to criticism than feminists are.
