There isn't any bias in pointing at the the things written in their post do not even match their own cited sources, yet Mens Lib feels this post is deserving of a permanent sidebar position.

Not only have they not addressed this post's many problems, it's still a sidebar post. They're straight endorsing it. It's been up there for over a year.

Their top post right now is about consent and sexual assault, and the message is clear: men are the bad guys, women are the victims.

Not one single mention about the fact that men can be raped too, and that it is equally as common as the reverse. No mention about male rape victims not being believed, about teachers who molest young boys, about adult women ("milfs") who assume boys want to have sex with them, or how women in general don't know that it's possible to rape a man. Nor any kind of mention about society's unwillingness to acknowledge that this is a problem.

It's disgusting, honestly.

And it's kind of a shame, because men's libs has a certain logic to it. Women have been "liberated" from their gender roles, so it's about time that men were "liberated" as well. But you can't talk about this and place 100% of the blame on men. In many cases it is women who sit in positions of power and privilege, and it is women who don't want to see the status quo changed.

MensLib was started by people in the AgainstMensRights subreddit and similar hate-filled communities, and many of their current moderators are still part of those groups. So yes, it's completely anti-male and hates men at its core. While some of the posters and posts may seem nominally concerned with the various issues men face (suicide, bodily autonomy, etc), the underlying purpose of the sub is a flat-out lie. Their ban-happy response to any and all criticism of anti-male actions or ideas is clear proof of their ill intent against men.

Still, don't let yourself get too worked up about a permaban. They've actually done you a favour, because the people there are just performing an act when they comment, and they are not able to offer honest ideas or fully be themselves. As such, they are likely miserable and unhappy, uninspired and dispirited, and stagnating slowly within their intellectual cage.

I prefer participating in a healthy community where I can be as true to myself as I can, have my ideas challenged or supported honestly and without artifice, and know that other people feel the same way.

I extend only as much good faith as I am shown. Give me a rational argument, I'll give a rational argument back. Accuse me of being morally and socially defective (puppet who's lost his string, not a real live person), then I will usually disregard you, or, if I'm feeling malicious, verbally eviscerate you.

It's sexist. It's belittling. It's dehumanising. It's mocking.

That's the entire point of the exercise. Feminists might dress it up with opaque wording such as 'decentering men/masculinity', but the intent is to demoralize, dehumanize, and ultimately destroy, men.

Menslib is just the next-to-final stage in which the class enemies of feminism (men) become willing participants in their own eradication.

Honestly it mostly seems like r/MensLib is intent on making comments that make any real men's liberation movement offended and (rightfully) outraged, to be able to portray them as angry haters.

Anger may be as justifiable or unjustifiable as any other human emotion.

Again, you're only allowed to talk about men's issues through the framework of feminism in that sub. Deviate from it in anyway, you're going to face opposition, especially when you start critiquing feminist ideology as a whole.
