I mean, what are they even saying? Their entire argument is baically that the ban is bad because nazis would like it. They would rather withhold the right to own your very body from innocent children than seeing nazis enjoy something.

Honestly, if nazis profit from the ban, then so be it. To me, damaging your political enemy is less important than upholding human rights.

If there are Jews and Muslims who cannot live without hurting non-consenting children, then they should move out or adapt to the changes.

Practically all religious people managed to accept that stoning people is bad and that women have rights when they started living in developed first world countries, so I don't see why the inhumane practice of circumcision shouldn't be able to be abandoned as well.

The ADL has been doing this shit for a while, and they are surprisingly powerful. Pewdiepie just recently donated 50k dollars to them in an attempt to move on from his controversial fivver video where he paid to have two people hold up signs saying "death to all jews", It was the ADL who brought that to the attention of Disney which is why they severed ties with him. So the ADL has a lot of influence.

The ADL trying to threaten Iceland if they ban circumcision is no big surprise. Seeing how circumcision is a major tradition to the Jewish people, I can see how they would try to twist that into anti-semitism but it doesn't change the reality of circumcision being unnecessary mutilation of male's.

The ADL could have taken a more nuanced position. Not everything is anti-semitism.

My reasons for favoring fewer circumcisions have nothing to do with religion and everything to do with hoping to limit un-needed surgeries, done without consent.

In terms of the Iceland ban proposal it simply needs a rewrite and resubmission due to a couple of shortfalls they failed to address.

Simple fact of the matter is if the proposal to restrict non therapeutic circumcision on children was put forward as a referendum multiple countries would landslide this practice into history.

the way the ADL went about it is all wrong. However, any ban on the mitzva of circumcision will be seen my most Jews as direct Jew Hate. I am not longer using the term antisemitism, because I am calling it what it truly is Jew Hate. a ban like this has been enacted many time across the ages, all because people hated the Jews.
