Yes, and 50 years ago (or 100 by now), a man could find his wife having an affair and murder her. It was called a crime of passion, and some men were found not guilty when they were tried. One day, her luck may run out, and her husband may snap, or she'll pick the wrong guy (like a psychopath) to have an affair with.

Exactly. Things are just as unbalanced and rabidly sexist as things were in 1960, it's just that the sexes are reversed. Men are constantly insulted and reviled by the media. Men are discriminated against by institutions. Men don't have equal rights to the other sex. Men are treated harshly and unfairly by the law.

Every time you read a statement about men, reverse the sex and see if it sounds sexist. It almost always does and outrageously so.

Society has made no progress on gender equality. All it's done is to invert the victims. That's not progress. It's just different.
