She was bragging about purposely pretending to be the best girlfriend ever, making him fall in love with her, and then emotionally abusing and gaslighting him.

Basically in democracy, most people, we call them feminists and white knights want women to have strong incentive to hurt men. The idea is prevent women from doing win win deals with men and be rewarded for it.

Part of the issue is men (and women) who accept this shit. It's how a pretty face with a somewhat interesting personality can make six figures off of a highly mediocre cooking/reaction/vlog channel on Youtube.

What are men doing about this I mean I'm starting to see that the window of opportunity is kind of closing in if dating is realistic or not for me. I'm not super attractive, people definitely want someone handsome, and convincing someone you have what it takes to be a good partner, good grief. My fear is for men who are going to fall out of this window of acceptance how will that impact how they live without having much if any connections with women on a romantic level? How will men adapt to this changing landscape? It's not exactly like you can make your desire for a partner just disappear. So it's going to be rough for a number of men trying to cope. Have you ever seen the Prim Reaper's YouTube videos? I love her she is amazing and she highlights how even in her field of mental health how it's becoming especially polarized with many people giving bad advice to men in how to have the right attitude and self worth. I'm genuinely concerned for myself and other men. I actually joined this group for that very fact that I feared a similar dynamic is unfolding and I'm seeing it from so many different people and groups, even those not online!

This is precisely why a lot of Asian men choose not to date. The "east" in recent years has become so gynocentric that most men prefer work home and isolation to the dating world where every other woman you meet is A crazy or B so feminist that she highly entertains the notion of killing all men.

its certainly an interesting dichotomy. Its acceptable/allowed to "beat on someone" emotionally, but its completely unacceptable/illegal to do it physically. considering women are at a physical disadvantage they learned wayyy earlier on in human history to leverage emotional tactics. Ideally, whatever that girl who's free like a bird did - should be just as banned as if the guy she did that too, retaliates by cracking her jaw.

One could argue, that men should learn the "emotional abuse" dance because at that point, the playing field will be level. Men don't have an "intellectual inferiority" the way women have a physical one. However, one could also argue that choosing to do that would actually be unfair because men will never "Catch up" to millennia of women evolving and perpetuation that type of manipulation.

One takeaway here might be that society, simply put, clearly doesn't value mens emotions. Nobody will look at that and see "damage". Society will expect this guy to just brush it off, because men aren't susceptible to their emotions - and if they are they're weak and we have no use for them. Imagine this exact same situation, but if the tables were turned and a boy made a girl cry instead. do you expect more, or less outrage?

I think that any group that has an "us versus them" mentality is promoting unhealthy behaviors in our society.

Promoting the ideology that the feelings of little boys and men are not valid is something that should no longer exist in our society.

As a social worker and as someone who has worked in the mental health and health care system for a decade, I have noticed a common trend that emotional intelligence is not being addressed in girls and boys. I think we would see an increase in support and a true union between the two sexes if we taught children to properly manage their emotions, practice empathy, problem solve, and work together.

Both men and women have amazing qualities. I find that men are more logical, analytical, rational. Women are more intuitive, holistic, integrative. Imagine what we can do if we are united rather than divided all the time.

Unfortunately, there are women and men who project their traumas and hurts onto their children. Their children then grow up with distorted beliefs and values.

Fortunately, this teenager can work on her mindset, but her parents and society have let her down. Her mentality should have been corrected, because making someone cry and rejoicing is such a toxic reaction. There’s an immense lack of empathy present and that is heart breaking.

Teaching a child that one gender is inferior to another is such a disgusting thing. I really don’t understand why women and men don’t respect each other anymore.

I don’t understand why parents aren’t correcting their child’s mentality.

We all know that biases are potentially harmful. Nothing good comes out of them.
