I would definitely get the police involved. They're threatening to hurt you, which is illegal, and the school is not doing anything. From your story, you're all mostly 18 by now, so they're legally responsible for their actions and threats are punishable by law

You did a stupid thing (kissing a taken girl and helping her in an immoral act of cheating), but what happened to you was an injustice, which is greatly affecting your life and putting you in danger. I suggest you call the police station, tell them the situation and the threats. At the very minimum, they'll survey everybody involved, lecture them about this stuff and scare them

Its better to notify them preventively rather than when someone crushes your window or you get beat up in public

Report her for statutory rape. Why the hell not? She is obviously a predator and will ruin people's lives on a whim and only cares about herself. This woman is dangerous, and you would possibly be helping future victims by doing so. Her being only 18 means she basically has a lifetime ahead of her to ruin other people's lives. You have the abiltiy to possibly get her registered as a sex offender early on.

It probably won't do much to help you out, but it sounds like you are shit out of luck to me as it is. If you can, record every interaction you have with the people that are threatening to beat you up, and file a restraining order and police complaint.

Start recording every interaction you have with the bullies and the school staff. Once you have enough evidence they school isn't doing enough file a police report. Dont use the school resource officer as they will normally side with the school staff. Go over his head and go directly to the police department. File a harassment complaint or threat of violence complaint. Whatever statute is applicable in your area against every person you have evidence on. Then call a few lawyers a lot of them will jump at the chance to sue the school. They will be hesitant to file a suit against the girl who made the false claim but keep pushing the issue.

They might not do anything now, but if something does happen and you can prove they knew about the risk, you're going to get paid and get people fired.

Making counter threats is not the best decision, it can easily be taken out of context and harm you even further. You should take the threats you've received seriously and send them up the ladder if possible.

Also now that you've posted here, don't surprised when you are banned from the off my chest sub. Happens to lots of people here. The mods there are not on your side.

I had a similar experience in high school.

I was 16 - the teacher was in her 40s, at first wanting me to hook up with her daughter (who was deeply embarrassed), then later cornering me in a janitor's closet which she told me to go to, and proceeded to shove her hand down my pants, feel around, and did the same the next day, trying to "wake me up" and have a literal roll in the mops. I declined both times, exited, and reported her on the 2nd time.

I was immediately removed from the class, given a failing grade, and later called a liar by name, when the principal addressed the entire school. After that address, I was jumped by 5 other students with knives, was cornered outside, and decided that if I was going to go, I was doing as much damage as possible. I managed to hold my own and got out of it. Nobody ever tried again.

Another student later came forward about it - was taken seriously, given psych help, and the teacher was quietly asked to resign (no charges pressed). The other student had zero retaliation. Later on, this retaliation reared its head where the high school intentionally fouled up paperwork for college, which prevented me from receiving the full-ride I had to a university (already applied and approved, paperwork pending).

Moral of the story: because some pedo teacher shoved her hands down my pants, and I came forward, I was punished. At the time, I thought as you did - that my life was ruined. It sure did take on a completely different trajectory, and I ran into years of very hard life trying to escape that course - which I eventually did (sort of). I will never see justice, and later confirmed the people knew exactly what they were doing, and they didn't care (only took twenty years to find that info out).

Anyone who's still bashing you on this - is not your friend. Don't listen to them, ever. Block, ignore, and move on, because that's your option now. Do your best, concentrate, and if it continues, start filing complaints of harassment, not just in school, but get a little legal help, too. The school sure would hate being sued for publishing a smear piece against an innocent person (this would be called libel and the verbal part slander. The school is supporting this type of activity - and a lawsuit, or the threat of one, would very likely scare the hell out of them. Bad press related to your experience is already happening. Maybe take it to a local news channel, too. Make it *BIG* - then show you aren't the horrible person described. Let the ones who dog you keep doing it - they don't matter. Find new friends who are good people, and keep pushing forward. You probably won't win justice, but the way you handle the situation will show your character. Be yourself, do your best. That's all we can do.

Many such cases. I remember a guy at my school who went through the same thing. He showed us text messages after him and the girl hooked up proving that it was consensual and that she wanted to do it again, but some people still didn’t believe him and wanted to beat him up. Men need to understand that beating up an actual rapist is great, beating up a man who’s been falsely accused of such a crime isn’t.
