She's definitely apathetic and a piece of shit, but this makes it sound like she was laughing at what she did, or the cop, when she wasn't. The judge asked her if she would have trouble making court dates, and she chuckled as she said, "well, since I don't have a car..."

Again, she's a piece of shit, but it didn't show her laughing at anyone's misery or anything like that. There's enough in the story to tell you that she's a piece of shit, no need to make false implications in the headlines about it.

Also, not really related to this sub at all. Nothing related to her sex was really brought up here. If you crash into a cop who saved a bunch of runners, you aren't getting off no matter if you're a man or woman. The victim was also a woman, so... I really don't see how this fits here.
