I tried mediation today and wtf! The mediator was making jokes with my ex and said a sense of humor was needed. I said this is no joking matter as I’m losing everything so far. My ex then starting saying shit about me and I put my foot down and said you will not speak to me or about me in those terms this setting. The mediator and the ex said “well this isn’t going to work.” The ex logged of after fucking apologizing to the mediator for a fucking waste of his time. What in the fuck! I walked into this looking for neutrality and got railroaded by both of them. FUCK! I’m so tired of everyone taking the ex’s side and falling for the fucking charm offensive. I had initially asked for a separate consultation but the mediator refused and like an idiot I walked into a situation I was sure to lose. FML
