Why hunting? If you’ve ever eaten store bought meat once, that’s infinitely more cruel than hunting. Even buying store bought eggs in way more cruel then bagging a dear. All that factory farmed meat gives no quality to the life of the animals, it wouldn’t be profitable. At least a dear, moose, boar, partridge, turkey, etc has known joy and of the greater world. Also hunting has many ecological benefits too, in the age of mass corn, soy, carrot, etc mass farms. It’s incredibly easy for huntable populations to get out of hand and cause problems, the classic example is when dear populations get too large far more people are killed in car accidents. Or when boar population gets out of control they can destroy corps, spread disease and menace humans and dogs. Can hunting be a issue, yes of course, but there’s a reason why you have to have a license, purchase tags, and report your game. If you’re abusing the system and poaching the fines are insanely expensive and can result in jail time. The game warden also take into account there’s going to be so much poaching with in a year and adjusted sales of tags in price and availability of quantity.

So many people hate on hunting, and some of the reason are valid ( poaching, over hunting, the dangers of some people who shouldn’t own a gun do so for hunting ) but a lot of their reason are hypocritical ( cruelty to animals while eating store bought meat, owning fire arms / there’s lots of people who shouldn’t own a gun because their unstable and don’t hunt usually their guns are better designed for hurting humans then a bow or shotgun, thinking hunting only do ecological damage ) and stereotyping ( all people who hunt are inbred red necks, their all psychopaths “who could kill Bambi?”, hunting is only done by rich or white people while there are lots of poor first peoples / natives / that hunt as a way of life and culture ).

Hunting takes skill, patience, and knowledge ( do you know how to harvest a dear? Skin it, gut it without popping the innards spoiling the meat, cut it, wrap it, store it, cook it? ).

In my experience there’s two ways in which women look at hunting, complete and utter disgust or overly interested and believing it super manly to hunt.

Complete and utter disgust, whatever I get it, you grew up without that being a part of your life, you see animals as tv has conditioned you to, free and happy until bad hunter come and kills one of them. It’s delusional ( because other animal hunt and eat them too, factory farm are basically concentration camps for food then military labour, and at some point you’ve killed a bug or ran over a squirrel so your just as bad of a person / is that bug you squashed any less alive than a dear? Did you eat the bug after you killed it or did you just senselessly kill or worse killed it cause it bothered you or got in your way? Much worse reason to kill imo ) but I get it, their not into that, that’s fine and up front.
Believing it super manly to hunt. These women are just as delusional and are more dangerous, hunting is just a hobby anyone can do and it’s not gendered. Lots of people think in prehistoric times, men hunted and women gathered, this may have been true of some groups but most certainly wasn’t for all. People in those times were opportunist of food, if a woman had a chance to kill and get meat she was going to. It wasn’t till humans started to over populate when rules came in of who could/should hunt, when/time of year, what could be hunted, and which gender should be hunted and hunting. The idea of men being manly from killing is sick and wrong, before you hate on me, read why I think so. Man being portrayed as the hunter, pushes the idea men should be used as killer in the form of warriors and enforcers “after all, men hunt and kill so why not kill our enemies?”. This is a horrible and toxic line of thinking and reduces men to nothing more then objects of war ( the riches and woman’s war boys ). All it does if provide gains women and the rich/powerful, if you’re gone fighting women get to be in charge of house hold, your child’s life, your finances ( you won’t be spending money while waiting to get shot in a trench ), if we come home we will be psychologically and physically scared for life. The rich and powerful get access to more women while your gone fighting for them, it’s easier for the rich and powerful to control and direct propaganda and political change. Anytime women and the rich and powerful turn men into nothing more then killers or enforcers it hurts men way more then it help them, it enforces a hierarchy were “less manly men” and more “manly men” ( alphas betas which is just the new form of this ) can be put against each other and women and rich/powerful can profit from the social implications.

I know it’s a little off topic but there are people here defending video games so I thought I’d defend hunting and show how women use it to control men and social narratives. Video games are awesome too.

Some of those aren't red flags. She's just listing things her ex's have done that she didn't like. Women always tell on themselves.

I think women have no clue how to qualify men for a serious relationship. That's why they invent lists like this or harp on astrological signs as a way to weed out undesirable men.

I'm not sure if they're inept or simply blinded by their emotions. I think going back to having fathers choose for them and eliminating no-fault divorce would solve many issues.

I don't consider this list unreasonable. I am assuming here that "playing video games" actually means "playing video games to excess" and not doing Wordle for 10 minutes a day.
