Mine was just written up as something like, "each person will retain funds under their own accounts.". Maybe you can get away with a broad statement like that without additional details.

Hmm…Has she explicitly waived discovery? (I’m speaking from a U.S. perspective) That’s the only way I think you could get away with not disclosing the value of those accounts. I gave a summary account of my financial holdings and assets (as did she), but avoided discovery by mutual consent.

My hunch is that if she’s giving you full custody and walking away from the family, they’re not going to pick apart the bank accounts. But I’m def not an atty. How old are the kids?

I guess I'm a little surprised that you have to show any bank accounts. I'd write it up as you keep your accounts she keeps hers and I'm gonna write a check for 45k to her. I think you all are going to need an agreement on the child support as well. Typically judges like to do things via the state guidelines but some states are forced to honor an agreement between the 2 parties. Why would a judge want to look through your bank records? It's the lawyers that want all of that if it's a contested divorce. If you have a joint accounts than it's a little more leg work I guess.

For an uncontested divorce I'd be shocked if a lawyer cost more than 3 grand. I'd bet most of them charge 1500. There just paper pushers at this point. Contested divorce now....that's the bread and butter. Get a real lawyer if you actually have that kind of money.

If you have the 7 figures of assets, hire a skilled attorney with investigators. I would get the divorce done asap and also figure out what’s going on in her end. You still have access to her phone plan I assume. Pros can figure it all quickly.
